Banana and Strawberry Ice Cream
This is so delicious and free of sugar and any other additives. You can add any fruit, preferably soft and sweet.
I'll start with a basic banana and strawberry.
3 bananas, peeled and sliced 1-2 cups of ripe strawberries, sliced 150ml of milk to suit including soya or almond
Freeze the fruit in a container, make sure the fruit is spaced out so it's not all stuck together.
Get the strawberries out of the freezer 5 minutes before you are going to make the ice cream as they are like bullets when fully frozen.
Pour the milk into a food processor and switch on at full power. Gradually add the banana and the partly defrosted strawberries through the funnel. The fruit may stick together, if necessary stop to break up the fruit. Eventually the mixture will become a smooth, creamy ice cream.
Serve immediately or return to the freezer. If the ice cream is left in the freezer for long it will become very hard and will need to be left out for 15 minutes before using.
