Better
a witty fool then a foolish wit.
Hello! and welcome to this issue.
Thank you for all your kind comments we've received about our newsletter
we've been sending out. It's good to know you're enjoying receiving them
as much as we enjoy sending them.
There
are a few more light-hearted articles this month. I must have been tuning
into the foolish energy that is April.
Wellness Article
We always try to be positive in this newsletter but we have recently found
out about a dangerous chemical which is in our homes, food and environment.
It can cause such serious problems that we feel everyone needs to know
about it. What you don't know can hurt you.
You
need to read this for your sake and for the sake of the people you care
about.

This Month's News
We
are organising a pamper evening at Oulton First School on Monday May 11th,
7 pm to 9 pm. Come along and meet the therapists and try out a taster.
Profits go to the school fund.
Nathan's Pictures
Last
month for Comic Relief our little boy, Nathan who is 6, decided to donate
his go-cart savings to comic relief. In addition he drew a lot of
pictures to sell in the Centre to raise money too. Thanks to your
generosity he raised £51.05. So thank you to everyone who bought
one of his pictures. Who knows what he will do next year.
More on Comic Relief
While
we're on the subject of Comic Relief it gives me great pleasure to announce
that a friend of the Ishta Centre, Gary Partridge, shattered the world
record for drumming. He drummed for over 104 hours and raised
loads of money.

Income Opportunities
With the downturn in the present economic climate people are looking to
supplement their income. We think this is a good idea and this occasional
series will give you some ideas of how to save some money and how to make
some money.
This month's idea.
Book of the month
Each month we'll give you a suggestion for a book that can make a big
improvement to your wellbeing.

Audio program of
the month
Each
month we aim to give you a free audio program which you can download and
listen to anywhere you like. They will be in mp3 format but you can simply
burn them onto a CD for ease of listening. They are streamed audio which
means that it will take a little time for the buffer to download, which
depends on the speed of your internet connection. Happy listening.
This month's audio.
Once you've open the above link, if you want to save the file directly
to your hard drive then right-click the link for the audio program and
select Save Target As...
Humour
A little something each month to make you smile. After all laughter is
the best medicine... ...unless, of course, you have tuberculosis!
This month's effort.
A closing thought
Something to ponder until next time. Bye for now.
