Chiropractic Chiropractic is such a large subject that we have decided to run a piece each issue about the amazing life-enhancing effects of the largest drug-free health care system in the world. The basics of Chiropractic, however, are incredibly simple; so simple in fact that everyone we've ever explained it to has got it. Even Allyn! Like most things which are very simple, it has an elegance to it which resonates with people all over the world. The ramifications of these basics are far reaching so each month we will add a bit more of the Chiropractic story. We thought we'd start off by sharing with you and audio presentation by Dr. Reginald Gold. When Allyn started off as a Chiropractic patient, his Chiropractor gave him a copy of this presentation to listen to and it made him want to become a Chiropractor. In fact, once in practice himself he gave a copy to every new patient he saw which inspired some of them to become Chiropractors too. Now it's your turn! This recording was made in the 1970's and as such the figures that Dr. Gold quotes are very out of date. Also some of the references he makes to the American Medical Association and to the American pharmaceutical industries do not necessarily apply in the UK. Despite these provisos this recording is excellent at getting the Chiropractic vision across in lay terms.
